Is the terminal really free?
Yes. A modern payment terminal is included at no additional cost. There are no setup fees, no monthly charges and no hidden costs: you only pay when you get paid.
What payment methods does the terminal take?
Chip, swipe, tap and mobile wallet payments across local and international debit and credit cards, including eftpos.
Does it work if the Wi-Fi drops?
The Castles S1F2 runs on Wi-Fi with 4G backup, so a patchy connection does not stop service.
Can customers add a tip?
Yes. Tipping is built in at checkout on the terminal.
Can I run more than one device on one account?
Yes. Every device reports into the same Back Office, across one outlet or all of them, so the day adds up in one place however many terminals are on the floor.
Who processes the payments?
Payments made through Dinetap are processed by Stripe, Adyen and Airwallex. Dinetap provides the software and the experience at the counter; the processor handles the payment itself and the settlement to your bank account.
