Dinetap wins the SGTech x AWS Build with AI Hackathon
Our team was named the top winning team at the AI-Ready Enterprise Initiative hackathon, held at the AWS office in Singapore.
On 22 October 2026, Dinetap was named the Top Winning Team at the AI-Ready Enterprise Initiative: SGTech x AWS Build with AI Hackathon, held at the AWS office in Singapore.
What we built
Our CEO Jude Kumar, together with Sivantha Paranavithana and Naveed, built a dynamic promotions module that helps food & beverage businesses cut food waste.
They had a build sprint of 2 hours and 45 minutes, working with Kiro, AWS's AI coding tool, and then pitched it live to the judges in about three minutes. The judges recognised the idea, the execution, the demo and the presentation.
What comes next
As part of the award, Dinetap will be featured across SGTech's channels.
Thank you to SGTech and AWS for hosting, and to the mentors and judges.
